Vision Action Network and its community partners hosted “Moving Ideas Into Action,” the second of two forums designed to advance racial equity in Washington County.
Many attendees of the January forum returned, and we were pleased to see a lot of new faces as well; people who were eager to participate. Similar to the first forum, nearly 45% of attendees identified as people of color.
At the gathering, community partners shared what they learned in their community conversations that took place during the prior couple of months. Then participants took the best ideas from the first forum and discussed ways to move those ideas into action.
Here’s a summary report of the accomplishments and our findings thus far.
