VAN Leadership

Meet our team.

Glenn Montgomery

Executive Director

Glenn joined VAN as Executive Director in March 2015 after a 30+ year career that spans the business, nonprofit, government, and faith-based sectors. From software development to sustainability to lay ministry to nonprofit management, he has curated a unique set of skills and experience that serve him well in his role as convener and facilitator of cross-sector collaboration in Washington County.

Outside of work, he enjoys a variety of activities from choral singing to outdoor recreation to yoga (taking and teaching), along with keeping tabs on his two grown daughters and mischievous middle-aged cat.

Jenny Moore

Communications and Logistics
Support Specialist

Jenny joined Vision Action Network in 2021, bringing over 20 years of experience in communications, project management, and facilitation for nonprofits, higher education, and government services, including six years teaching nonprofit skills for AmeriCorps VISTA.

With undergraduate degrees in Communications and History, and an M.A. in American Studies from California State University, Fullerton, Jenny applies a critical lens to organizational communications, and is committed to collaborative work that advances tangible application of diversity, equity, and inclusion principles. Jenny moved to Washington County with her husband and son in 2014 and enjoys reading and spending time in nature.

Fernanda Wilent

Director of Community Engagement

Fernanda joined Vision Action Network in 2018 with extensive cross-cultural knowledge, program management experience, and administrative skills. Born and raised in Ecuador, she discovered her passion for service, traveling to over 30 countries working for an international NGO.

In 2009, Fernanda moved to Oregon and most recently was a program coordinator for Medical Teams International focused on Southeast Asia. Her experiences, both locally and abroad, have deepened her commitment to social justice and her desire to help create a more equitable, diverse, and inclusive world. Fernanda earned a BA degree in project management from George Fox University, and in November 2017, she and her husband welcomed their daughter, Sofia, into this world.
